Lares Trek 4D/ Classic is not a one-off trek. We invite travellers interested in one of the worlda��s most remote and beautiful challenges to join us every year as we arrange each of the five stages of the Salkantay Trek as independent trekking stages. If you are short on time you may want to choose 1 +/-days for with the eventual goal of completing the entire Salkantay reaching to Machu Picchu.

Day 1: Cusco a�� Calca a�� Lares Hot Springs a�� Cuncani Comunity
The first meeting point to get our adventure on the wild nature, at 6:00am pick up from your hotel and drive by road till Calca town where some shop facilities and drinks before start the hike, continued driving until lares town there are hot springs an area to relax, swimming and have lunch, we can see a Inca path with symmetric, and spectacular views of Collque Cruz mountain (5,818 mt / 19,083 ft.) after lunch and nap the hike up straight to the camp site 05 hours called Cuncani (3,700mt/12,136ft.).

Day 2: Cuncani Community a�� Cuncani Pass a�� Quiswarani Community a�� Cocha Pata Lake
At morning some local customers come visit us offering the handicraft (work in llama and alpaca textiles), thick breakfast at 7 am and follow the farmers trail to the high pass at Cuncani Pass (4,400 mt/14,432 ft), in the way up we use a part of the Inca trails paved, on ascent bottom the waterfall and natural cave on the platform to fin the colorful lake, there are chance to have lunch and nap on close the mountain range and depth valley with the native communities on the andes, around the lakes large number of Andean birds like Puna Ibis, Andean Goose, perhaps a Condor flying near of the mountain clefs, after to hike up 6 hours will flip the highest point of the day to turn the head to enjoy the Andean mountain capped by snow downwards to Quishuarani valley on meddle of Puna vegetation and typical forest of Qeunas (polilepys ssp), the downhill and slop aup to Cocha pata lake3700mt/12,139ft is around 4 hours till the base camp (3700mt/12,139ft) where are our crew sit down the equipment.

Day 3: Cocha Pata Lake a�� Pachacutec Pass a�� Cancha Cancha a�� Huaran Village
The wake up around the lake with the sun light pointing to the lake is begin the brilliant day on the trek where no crowded by the farmers people, just some llamas and alpacas are standing on the mountain range, the breakfast on the outdoor live is feel the nature, this day are longest and big challenge crossing by the rockya��s areas where are places with a lot minerals till the top point of the day (3 hours)in snow season all highest range are capped by snow the pass is called Pachacuti pass (4,500mt/14,763ft) from there split the two valley and climate, the descends to yanacocha lake and yuraccocha lake with the views of Chicon Mountain (5,530 mt/18,138 ft.) the farming fields begin with potatos and down valley corn crops, downhill till the end is 4 hours crossing by the small hut and village lunch place (Cancha cancha 3,900mt/12,792 ft).late follow the trail descent to Huaran the end of the trek, 1 hour drive till Ollantaytambo train station (19:00 pm train time to Aguas calientes).

Day 4: Aguas Calientes a�� Machu Picchu a�� Cusco
the ancient day on the trek is start as early possible to go up by bus or walk, on the clear sky days is able to see the sunrise even when is cloudy is mysteries and majestic, explore with the guide 2 hours after that explore by yourself or to do extra hike surround the city, chance to climbing to Waynapicchu and Machupicchu mountains you need book a ticket for those last ones, on the afternoon back down to Aguas Calientes to return by train until Ollantaytambo (18:45 pm) and transport by car to cusco arrive hotel (11:00 pm aproxm).
