Having fun in cusco

Cusco is perhaps the most cosmopolitan city in Peru. Entertainment here is, like the city itself, both global and modern as well as highland and traditional.

Horse Riding:

Visit the ruins closest to the city: generally Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Pukapukara.

Adventure Sports:

Hang gliding from a mountain is an unforgettable experience. Canoeing and Kayaking are available to those interested in challenging the rapids in the rivers Urubamba or Apurimac. For landsmen, what better than mountain biking.

Nightclubs:

Cusco never sleeps. There is a variety of clubs and something for everyone, quiet bars, bohemian pubs and discos with a markedly international flavour.

Mountain Biking:

Several tourism companies offer tours of mountain bike, for amateurs and also for good cyclists. Sacred Valley of Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo and Maras are the main map of this adventure.

Canopy:

It is one of the most popular activities in Cusco especially for those fans of extreme sports. The adventures will fly at a maximum height of 700 meters (about 2,338 feet) above Sacred Valley of Machu Picchu.

Paragliding:

The magnificent panoramic views that Cusco have are perfect for paragliding. The pilot will make flights from the viewpoint of Raqchi, Urubamba Valley, for 30 minutes. It is also possible to go Wayllabamba in balloon for three hours.
